O presente artigo tem como intenção tratar de algumas das necessidades das pessoas autistas em sua interação com os ambientes construídos, bem como das possíveis estratégias projetuais para auxiliar nessa interação. Este trabalho foi desenvolvido por meio de uma revisão de estudos publicados sobre arquitetura, no que se refere a sua relação com o transtorno de espectro autista, tendo foco em áreas internas de edifícios. Desse modo, buscou-se reunir dados e identificar diretrizes para auxiliar na futura criação de soluções projetuais que realmente compreendam as necessidades dos usuários, suas emoções, dificuldades e limitações, e também, suas qualidades
This article intends to address some of the needs of autistic people in their interaction with the built environments, as well the possible design strategies to assist in this interaction. This work was developed through published studies review about architecture, concerning to its relationship with autism spectrum disorder, focusing on indoor areas of buildings. Thus, we sought to gather data and identify guidelines to assist in the future creation of design solutions that really understand the users’ needs, their emotions, difficulties and limitations, and also, their qualities.
