Na era do avanço tecnológico acelerado, a interseção entre arte e inteligência artificial transforma profundamente o entendimento da criatividade e da autoria artística. Este artigo investiga como os processos criativos mediados por inteligência artificial – especialmente aqueles baseados em redes neurais generativas – desafiam noções tradicionais de autoria, originalidade e expressão estética. A partir de uma revisão sistemática da literatura e da análise de projetos artísticos produzidos com inteligência artificial, o estudo propõe uma reflexão crítica sobre o papel do artista e a legitimidade da criatividade algorítmica no século XXI. Argumenta-se que a inteligência artificial não apenas amplia as possibilidades de criação, mas também impõe a necessidade de reconfigurar os limites epistemológicos da arte.
In the era of accelerated technological advancement, the intersection between art and artificial intelligence profoundly transforms the understanding of creativity and artistic authorship. This article investigates how AI-mediated creative processes – especially those based on generative neural networks – challenge traditional notions of authorship, originality, and aesthetic expression. Through a systematic literature review and the analysis of artistic projects produced with AI, the study proposes a critical reflection on the role of the artist and the legitimacy of algorithmic creativity in the 21st century. It is argued that AI not only expands the possibilities of creation but also necessitates the reconfiguration of the epistemological boundaries of art.
