O objetivo desse trabalho é analisar alguns aspectos da relação entre arte e educação
no ensaio A obra de arte na época de sua reprodutibilidade técnica. O ensaio aborda a
experiência estética no contexto da situação histórica e polÃtica de 1935-1938 na
Europa. Salienta a função pedagógica da arte, basicamente o cinema, que tem na
estética da distração a forma de recepção da modernidade. A produção estética na era
da reprodutibilidade técnica tem um aspecto polÃtico importante no aprendizado.
The aim of this paper is to analyze some aspects from the unit between art and
education in the essay The Work of Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction. The
Work of Art essay comprehends the aesthetics experience within the context of the
European historical and political situation in 1935-1938. The text points out the
pedagogic function of art, basically the cinema, which includes the aesthetics of
distraction as a way to achieve modernity. During the age of mechanical reproduction
the production of aesthetic develops an important political aspect on learning.
