O estudo do Movimento IndÃgena no Brasil, tendo como hipótese principal a percepção das Assembléias IndÃgenas como acontecimento fundador do mesmo, é o objetivo principal deste artigo. O perÃodo histórico em pauta perpassa os anos de 1974 a 1980, momentos marcados pela ditadura militar no Brasil e a subseqüente abertura polÃtica. O objeto maior de análise são as falas dos chefes e lÃderes indÃgenas, suas ansiedades e reivindicações.
The study of the
Indigenous Movement in Brazil, with
the main hypothesis of the
perception of Indigenous Assemblies
as founder of the same event, is the
main objective of this article. The
historical period in question
encompasses the years 1974 to 1980,
moments marked by the military
dictatorship in Brazil and the
subsequent political liberalization.
The object of analysis is the greatest
speeches of the chiefs and indigenous
leaders, their anxieties and demands.
