Em seu livro O método Brecht, o crÃtico marxista norte-americano Fredric Jameson sustenta a idéia da atividade e da práxis como fonte da atualidade do trabalho de Bertolt Brecht no mundo contemporâneo. Partindo desta idéia, este artigo procura apresentar alguns parâmetros para uma rediscussão da atualidade do trabalho e do pensamento crÃtico de Oduvaldo Vianna Filho.
In his book Brecht and method, the American marxist critic Fredric Jameson argues that the idea of activity and praxis, as conceived by Bertolt Brecht, is the source of the utility and pertinence of Bertolt Brecht’s work in our days.
