A partir das ideias de alguns dos principais teóricos da autoficção, este trabalho pretende abordar a obra O oitavo selo – quase-romance, de Heloísa Seixas, sob este viés e o da alteridade, na perspectiva de que o jogo autoficcional instaurado na obra abarca o processo de alteridade vivido pelos personagens em questão, Ruy Castro e Heloísa Seixas, marido e mulher, personagem e narrador. A partir de trechos da obra literária, esse “amálgama” entre eles será demonstrado e analisado, revelando um tipo peculiar de narrativa autoficcional, denominado, neste trabalho, de desdobramento autoficcional.

Based on the ideas of some of the main theorists of autofiction, this work intends to approach Heloísa Seixas' O oitavo selo – quase-romance, under this bi as and that of otherness, in the perspective that the autoficcional game established in the work process of otherness lived by the characters in question, Ruy Castro and Heloísa Seixas, husband and wife, character and narrator. From the excerpts of the literary work, this “amalgam” between them will be demonstrated and analyzed, revealing a peculiar kind of autofictional narrative, called, in this work, autofictional unfolding.
