O presente artigo analisa a aplicação da metodologia da avaliação da percepção ambiental a alunos do ensino médio-técnico do CEFET-RJ, desenvolvida por convênio entre o Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica do Rio de Janeiro (CEFET-RJ) e o Núcleo de Estudos em Percepção Ambiental (NEPA), da Faculdade Brasileira – UNIVIX, Vitória – ES, que se dedica a este tipo de pesquisa nas áreas ambiental, social e educacional. O objetivo do estudo é gerar um banco de dados de informações sobre o perfil da cidadania ambiental destes jovens, permitindo, a partir do mesmo, definir ações específicas complementares de Educação Ambiental voltadas a contribuir, direcionar e ampliar a visão ambiental dos jovens. This paper analyzes the methodology used in the evaluation of the environmental perception of students of the technological school (CEFET - RJ), applied in a joint program held by the mentioned educational institution (Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica do Rio de Janeiro-CEFET-RJ) and the "Núcleo de Estudos em Percepção Ambiental (NEPA) of the FACULDADE BRASILEIRA - UNIVIX, VITÓRIA- ES", which sponsors research in the environmental, social and educational areas. The objective of this study is to obtain data related to those students' environmental awareness, which will allow the definition of specific actions in the field of Environmental Education aimed at contributing, directing and enlarging the environmental consciousness of those youngsters. It is expected that the study will bring a differentiated contribution for the pedagogical course programs of Environmental Education based on data previously identified.
