O trabalho visou à obtenção do balanço hÃdrico climatológico pelo método de Thornthwaite & Mather
(1955) para o municÃpio de Pinheiral, localizado na região do Médio ParaÃba Fluminense e sua aplicação no
planejamento agropecuário local. Foram utilizados dados de 64 meses coletados a partir de abril de 2005 pela
estação meteorológica automática do IFRJ em Pinheiral.
The work was aimed at achieving the climatic water balance by the method of Thornthwaite & Mather(1955)
for the city of Pinheiral, located in the Middle ParaÃba Fluminense, and apply it to the local agricultural planning. We
utilized data collected 64 months from April 2005 by the automatic weather station of the IFRJ in Pinheiral.
