Objetivo: Este trabalho tem por finalidade realizar uma análise quantitativa e bibliométrica do teletrabalho, também denominado como trabalho remoto, e sua contribuição para o desenvolvimento regional, bem como sua produção científica. Materiais e Métodos: Foi realizada uma análise bibliométrica, sob periódicos disponíveis na base da SciELO, de forma a identificar o índice de produção científica sobre o teletrabalho. Conclusões: Conclui-se que a taxa de produção científica sobre o teletrabalho vem cada vez mais aumentando, tendo como base o avanço tecnológico e métodos de trabalho, bem como o aumento do índice de desemprego, gerando a necessidade de buscar novas alternativas de trabalho.
Objective: This studyaims to perform a quantitative and bibliometric analysis of teleworking, also called as remote work, and its contribution to regional development, as well as its scientific production. Materials and Methods: A bibliometric analysis was carried out in journals available from SciELO database, in order to identify the index of scientific production on telework. Conclusions: It is concluded that the rate of scientific production on telecommuting is increasing, based on technological advances and work methods, as well as the increase in the unemployment rate, generating the need to look for new work alternatives.
