The objective of this research is about the fictionalization of the gaucho writer
Caio Fernando Abreu in narratives, examining how this process took place in
these works and how they were received by the critics. For that we selected a
corpus made up of biographies of the author, through interviews and letters and
chronicles written by him and published in newspapers, magazines or books.
