BREVES REFLEXÕES SOBRE A EDUCAÇÃO CONTINUADA DE PROFESSORES DE LÍNGUA PORTUGUESA

Neste artigo objetiva-se apresentar algumas reflexões sobre a necessidade de se repensar a função da Universidade em relação à educação continuada de professores, a partir do registro de observação de aulas de Língua Portuguesa, feito por alunos estagiários. Para isso, trazemos um breve diálogo com autores e legislação que tratam dessa modalidade de educação, como, por exemplo, Pacheco e Flores (1999), Alves (2000) e Porto (2000). O texto está dividido em duas grandes seções: na primeira evidenciamos discute-se o aparato teórico e, na segunda, analisa-se a fala dos estagiários em relação à atuação do professor da escola básica. Concluímos que, em tempos de tantas transformações, faz-se necessária a atuação da Universidade em ações que favoreçam a Educação Continuada.

This paper presents some reflections on the need to rethink the role of the University in relation to continuing teacher education, based on the record of observation of Portuguese Language classes, made by students. For this, we bring a brief dialogue with authors and legislation dealing with this type of education, for example, Pacheco and Flores (1999), Alves (2000) and Porto (2000). The text is divided into two major sections: the first evidence discusses the theoretical apparatus and in the second, we analyze the speech of trainees regarding the role of teachers in the school. We conclude that, in times of so many changes, it is necessary to the performance of the University in actions that favor Continuing Education.
