A subjetividade que se revela na e pela escrita é o objeto deste estudo; a Análise do Discurso de perspectiva francesa e conceitos da psicanálise lacaniana, as balizas analíticas. A menção significativa à sensação paradoxal de imigração na própria cidade onde nasceu, viveu e continua vivendo, em textos de alunos da Escola de Jovens e Adultos, constituiu a pedra de toque desta pesquisa. Os resultados da análise empreendida revelaram que as identidades, a condição de todo imigrante, não apenas dos imigrantes topológicos, mas dos temporais também: estar saudoso, como estar tomado por uma triste aspiração por algo indefinido que se foi há muito tempo, e saber que o passado não é um país que possa ser reencontrado.

The subjectivity shown in and by writing is the aim of this study. The French Discourse Analysis and concepts of lacanian psychoanalysis are its analytical basis. The significant mention of the paradoxal immigration feeling in one's own hometown, a city where one has always lived, in texts by the students of Escola de Jovens e Adultos (Youngsters and Adults School), is the foundation stone of this research. The results of the analysis performed have revealed that the identities, conceived as established and stable, are going down the subjectivation cliff. And that is the condition of every immigrant, not only of the topological immigrants, but also of the temporal ones: a feeling of missing, as if a sad aspiration for something indefinite that has gone a long ago came over them, as if one knew that the past is not a country which can be found again.
