This essay examines demands for justice and solidarity in Chile, remarkable lay people ́s synod in 2019 and 2020, and ongoing initiatives such as women-church. All of this has historical, anthropological, political roots, and it opens up new local and global experiences. There are social and spiritual signs that refer to God ́s kingdom, to a church of communities faithful to the Spirit, to a series of programs and networks. Creative action by lay persons, by women, by several institutions, are showing love for the Gospel of Jesus and also ways of going beyond structural abuse of power.
Reviso clamores por justicia y solidaridad, y procesos ejemplares como los autoconvocados sínodos de 2019 y 2020, y la corriente mujeres-iglesia Es un quehacer con raíces históricas en diversas culturas, y con implicancias a nivel local y global. Examino signos sociales y espirituales que se refieren al Reino de Dios, sueños de una iglesia de comunidades fieles al Espíritu, y programas de acciones en redes cristianas. Las insurgencias del laicado, de la mujer, de nuevas instancias, van delineando el caminar de personas apasionadas por el Evangelio e indignadas ante abusos de poder.
