Este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar o processo migratório dos moradores da área
urbana de Matupá-MT enfatizando a colonização e migração em Mato Grosso, verificando os
fatores que contribuÃram para a vinda destas famÃlias para está região e caracterizar
os moradores dos bairros deste municÃpio. A pesquisa é qualitativa, de caráter
exploratório realizado no perÃodo de maio a junho de 2005, com moradores dos oito
bairros do municÃpio de Matupá-MT, o método de entrevista direta com os moradores,
através de um questionário contendo perguntas objetivas, sendo entrevistadas 5%
das 2680 famÃlias, o que equivale a um total de 134 famÃlias. Conclui-se que à busca
por melhores condições de vida levaram à s famÃlias entrevistadas migrarem para
Matupá-MT na sua maioria oriundas do Sul do Brasil e também de outras regiões:
Região Centro-Oeste, região Sudeste, região Nordeste e região Norte.
Characterization of the residents of the neighborhoods of the district of Matupá-MT.
This work has as objective analyzes the residents' of the urban area of Matupá
migratory process emphasizing the colonization and migration in Mato Grosso,
verifying the factors that contributed to the arrival of these families for it is area and to
characterize the residents of the neighborhoods of this municipal district. The
research is qualitative, of exploratory character accomplished in the period of May to
June of 2005, with residents of the eight neighborhoods of the municipal district of
Matupá-MT, the method of direct interview with the residents, through a questionnaire
containing questions lenses, being interviewed 5% of the 2680 families, what is equal
the a total of 134 families. It is ended that to the search for better life conditions took
to the interviewed families migrate for Matupá-MT in his/her majority originating from
of the South of Brazil and also of other areas: Area Center-west, Southeast area,
Northeast area and North area.
