Resumos Cadastrados

In this paper, I present a discussion about the musical events that compose the leisure circuits of young people who has an affinity with Gothic – an alternative culture that became popular in England in the late 1970s – in the city of Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil. The research aimed to reflect on how these young people experience the gothic universe in different spaces and events pointing to the hybrid, fluid and spontaneous nature of encounters. In these events, young people open up to new subjective experiences that allow them to dissolve identities, innovate codes and move without order. At parties, the processes of deterritorialization are intensified (DELEUZE, 1977) through the encounter with otherness. In general, this article refers to the discontinuous flows thatconstantly reconfigure youth experimentation.
