CASOS E ACASOS: POR QUE ELES E ELAS PERSISTEM? um Estudo de Caso na Educação de Jovens e Adultos

Resumo Português:

A presente pesquisa tem por objetivo identificar as motivações e (des)motivações que ocorrem na Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA) e que levam a evasão escolar. A pesquisa ocorreu no ano de 2010 na Escola Professor Jurandir Liberino de Mesquita, localizada na cidade de Sinop - MT. Para a elaboração deste trabalho foi feito um levantamento bibliográfico contando com as contribuições de Paulo Freire; MEC – Programa de Professores Alfabetizadores (PROFA); Maria Clarisse Viera; LDB/96 e Afonso Celso Scocuglia. Os focos desta pesquisa são as ações (analisadas através das observações) e os dizeres (verificadas a partir das entrevistas) dos sujeitos inseridos no curso de alfabetização noturno a EJA. As observações e as entrevistas com os alunos de duas salas de alfabetização foram os meios encontrados para se estudar o fenômeno da evasão escolar neste espaço. Assim, pode-se dizer que os alunos têm objetivos como ler e escrever, mas assim que estes objetivos são alcançados, ou quando algo relacionado com a família considerado mais importante acontece, os estudos são interrompidos.

This research has the objetive to identify the motivations and desmotivations that happens with youngs and adult education that and lead to leave school. This research was made in the year 2010 in the school teacher Jurandir Libertino de Mesquita, in the city of Sinop – MT. for the elaboration of this work was done a bibliographical survey with the contribution of de Paulo Freire; MEC – Program of Reading readiness teachers (PROFA); Maria Clarisse Viera; LDB/96 e Afonso Celso Scocuglia. The focus of this research are the actions (analysed through observation) and the sayings (that were verified in the interviews) of the subjects inserted in the literacy courses and EJA. The observation and interviews of the students of the literacy course were found for the means to study the phenomenon of dropout in this space. So u can tell that the students objetives are to learn how to read and write, but when those goals are achieved, or when something related to their families happens, the studies are interrupted.
