expandir algumas concepções e
conceitos de cultura popular na
tentativa de melhor compreensão no
contexto em que o catira se insere,
isto é, como cultura popular
proveniente do mundo rural. Ao
mesmo tempo é propósito apresentar
aspectos do catira de Uberaba em
meados do século XX.
We seek to expand in this
work certain ideas and concepts of
popular culture in an attempt of a
better understing of the context in
which the catira falls, that is, as
popular culture from the rural areas.
At the same time aim to present
aspects of catira in the city of
Uberaba in the mid-twentieth
century.
