O estudo analisou as relações entre as abordagens Causation e Effectuation quanto às características de exparticipantes do Empretec no RN. Com abordagem quantitativa, foi avaliada a estrutura fatorial da escala utilizada seguida por Regressão Robusta. Os resultados evidenciam que ambas as abordagens são contundentes, mas especialmente a de Causation, que também é impactada com significância pelo gênero, idade, origem de recursos e o fato de os participantes estarem atualmente empreendendo. A de Effectuation é levemente influenciada pelas mesmas variáveis. Concluiu-se que há coexistência de ambas as abordagens nas tomadas de decisões dos ex-Empretecos, com predominância da Causation.
The study analyzed the relationships between the Causation and Effectuation approaches regarding the characteristics of former Empretec participants in RN. In a quantitative approach, the factor structure of the scale used is assessed, followed by robust regression. The results show that both approaches are strong, especially Causation, which is also significantly influenced by gender, age, source of resources, and participants' current companies. Effects are slightly affected by the same variables. It was concluded that the two approaches coexisted in the decision-making of former operators, with Causation as predominant.
