Esta experiência ocorreu em Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, quando o Instituto Federal de Santa Catarina (IFSC) organizou em 2012, o II Fórum Mundial de Educação Profissional Tecnológica. Os Passeios Turísticos Gratuitos foram oferecidos aos participantes do evento, com o intuito de conhecerem a cidade e o seu entorno. Foram realizadas entrevistas com as pessoas que realizaram os passeios turísticos e aplicada uma pesquisa de opinião respondida por eles. O objetivo geral foi analisar a experiência dos alunos do Campus Florianópolis Continente dos cursos de Guia de Turismo e de Condutor Ambiental e Cultural nos roteiros turísticos realizados durante o evento.
The event reported in the paper took place in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, when the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina (IFSC) organized and hosted the II World Forum of Professional and Technological Education, from May 28 to June 1, 2012, at the Convention Center Centro Sul, The activity “Free Tourist Tours” was offered to participants of the event with the intention of showing them the city and its surrounding areas. As methodological tools, a survey and interviews were conducted with those who went sightseeing. The main objective was to examine the practical experience of the students of the Campus Florianópolis Continente who acted in the categories Tourist Guide and Cultural and Environmental Guide in the tours offered by the event.
