Atualmente, diferentes campos do conhecimento discutem a imagem e seu potencial de representação. A partir da complexidade fotográfica, fundamentada principalmente pelo conceito de Umwelt, apresentamos sua condição de simultaneamente ser mediação entre objetos e coisas: não sendo de fato “as coisas fotografadas do mundo”, deixando clara sua condição ficcional, e sendo “coisas do mundo” (referente a elementos do mundo ainda não-objetivados).

Currently, different fields of knowledge discuss the image and its potential of representation. From the photographic complexity, based mainly on the concept of Umwelt, we present the condition of the image be simultaneously a mediation between objects and things: not actually being “photographed things in the world”, making clear its fictional condition, and being “things of the world” (referring to elements of the world still non-objectivated).
