The present work describes the floristic composition and structure of the Secondary Forest in the region of the middle course of the Rio Jacuí, RS. This forest type is highly heterogenous, with 49 tree species found, with more abundant and deminant species of secondary commercial importance. There was also abundant natural regeneration and numerous herbaceous and shrub species.
