O presente texto trata das interações entre o ensino de Arquitetura e Urbanismo e a Educação Patrimonial como pontos fundamentais para o desenvolvimento da cidadania, a partir da realização do Programa de Extensão denominado “Comunidade RETRÔ” no Centro de Educação Superior da Região Sul da UDESC. Em outras palavras, aponta-se a necessidade de construção de pedagogias inovadoras em Arquitetura e Urbanismo como aspecto essencial à aproximação das atividades acadêmicas à realidade dos estudantes, constituindo-as no registro e difusão dos resultados obtidos na disciplina de Técnicas Retrospectivas através de documentários que auxiliam a comunidade lagunense na conscientização sobre a valorização do patrimônio cultural representado, principalmente, pelas edificações do centro histórico protegido por tombamento federal e pela atividade pesqueira remanescente no complexo lagunar.
This text is about the interactions between Architecture and Urban Planning teaching and the Cultural Heritage Education as key points for the citizenship, through the accomplishment of the Program called " Comunidade RETRÔ" at the Center for Higher Education of the Southern Region of UDESC. In other words, it points the need for innovative pedagogies in Architecture and Urbanism as an essential aspect to approach the academic activities of the students reality, with record and broadcast of the results in the discipline of Technical Retrospectives through documentaries which assist the community of Laguna in raising of the appreciation of the cultural heritage represented mainly by the buildings of the historic center protected by federal law and by the remaining fishing activity in the lagoon complex.
