Este artigo tem por foco a trajetória do Identidade, grupo ativista do movimento LGBT (de lésbicas, gays, bissexuais, travestis e transexuais), atuante a partir de 1998 na cidade de Campinas. O que pretendemos apresentar é uma análise da trajetória do grupo, acentuando as mudanças no ideário e na identidade institucional e política adotadas pelo mesmo, bem como as relações entre tais processos e as conexões do grupo com os atores sociais envolvidos em seu campo ativista. A exploração da articulação entre o ideário do grupo e o espaço da cidade, por meio da análise de sua atuação, é a base para relativizar tendências apontadas por pesquisas realizadas a partir da realidade de redes ativistas de ampla visibilidade nacional e de organizações atuantes em capitais brasileiras.
This article focus on the pathway of Identidade, an activist group of the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) social movement, active since 1998 in the city of Campinas. What we aim the present is an analysis of the group trajectory, emphasizing the changes in its ideology and in the political institutional identity, as well as the relations between such processes and the connections of the group with the social actors involved in its activist field. The basis to relativize tendencies pointed by researches conducted from the reality of activists network with wide national visibility and of the organizations active in Brazilian capitals is the exploration of the articulation between the ideology of the group and the city space by means of the analysis of its acting.
