Amnesty has not materialized in Brazil. It is still in a constant construction and much remains to be done in order to find the truth and make sense of the struggle of the heroes of the resistance. The reconciliation between Brazil and its history is not possible while the dictatorship´s files are not opened, while we not know how, where and when occurred the crimes that shattered so many families and marked so many people throughout their lives, while Brazil does not obey the decision of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights and many other sentences that are coming, while, finally, Brazil is not aware that it must obey to the international treaties and documents of which it is a signatory, which recognize torture as a common crime and indefeasible: a crime against humanity.
