Retomadas ao recrudescimento de posturas contrárias ao bem social e ao desenvolvimento de pessoas são vividas no mundo. Há ódio político nas relações interpessoais e públicas. Diante disso, a exemplificar o cenário brasileiro, os Estados Unidos também demonstram os seus efeitos de uma gestão truculenta, para não dizer excludente, para precisar dizer o que foi a administração de direita à extrema-direita. Esses efeitos são diversos, a citar o que veremos em fato pontual de violência discursiva sustentada pela humilhação, pela exposição do corpo preto feminino, do cabelo de mulher preta estadunidense. Exposição da atriz Jada Smith que porta alopecia (uma condição de perda de cabelo), a dita calvície. Diante disso, o corpus de trabalho eleito são quatro imagens fotográficas e sete enunciados de Jada Pinkett Smith, Will Smith e Chris Rock. As perguntas de trabalho são: (1) qual é o funcionamento discursivo da piada do Chris Rock que coloca a atriz Jada em posição-sujeito de humilhação? (2) como a emoção expressa sentido de degradação no rosto de Jada Smith? (3) quais indícios da piada de Chris Rock acontecimentalizam discriminações (machismo, misoginia e racismo)? (4) por que o tapa de Will Smith em Chris Rock expressa a defesa e a honra das mulheres pretas em uma sociedade machista e do branqueamento? O embasamento teórico-analítico é a Análise do discursivo e os autores de referência são Pêcheux, Foucault e Courtine. Busca-se sobre a beleza preta e sua história para a chegada em questões sobre o corpo preto da atriz estadunidense Jada Smith e a humilhação sofrida no maior festival americano de cinema – Oscar 2022. Sobre o sentimento de humilhação e as emoções humanitárias, recorremos, respectivamente, a Haroche (2020) e Taithe (2020) no livro dirigido por Jean-Jacques Courtine – História das Emoções. O texto apresenta reflexões sobre a intolerância à diversidade e à ausência do cabelo pela doença alopecia da atriz Jada, além do machismo e dos indícios de reprodução discursiva discriminatória de chacota e riso discriminador e polêmico no Oscar 2022.
Returns to the resurgence of attitudes contrary to the social good and the development of people are experienced in the world. There is political hatred in interpersonal and public relationships. Faced with this violent and demotivating resurgence, exemplifying the Brazilian scenario, the United States also demonstrates the effects of a truculent administration, not to say exclusionary, to say the least, what D. Trump’s administration was. These effects are diverse, including what we will see in a specific event of discursive violence sustained by humiliation, by the exposure of the black female body, of the hair of a black American woman. Exhibition of actress Jada Smith who has alopecia (a condition of hair loss), known as baldness. Therefore, the chosen corpus of work is four photographic images and seven statements by Jada Pinkett Smith, Will Smith and Chris Rock. The working questions are: (1) what is the discursive functioning of Chris Rock’s joke that puts actress Jada in a position of humiliation? (2) how does emotion express a sense of degradation on Jada Smith’s face? (3) what signs in Chris Rock’s joke lead to discrimination (machismo, misogyny and racism)? (4) Why does Will Smith’s slap on Chris Rock express the defense and honor of black women in a sexist and whitening society? The theoretical-analytical basis is Discursive Analysis. It searches for black beauty and its history in Brazil (Braga, 2015) and then arrives at questions about the black body of American actress Jada Smith and the humiliation suffered on her skin at the biggest American film festival – Oscar 2022. Regarding the feeling of humiliation and humanitarian emotions, we turn, respectively, to Haroche (2020) and Taithe (2020) in the book directed by Jean-Jacques Courtine in History of Emotions. We also resorted to the recent work Discourse and Emotions (Piovezani; Curcino; Sargentini, 2024). The text presents reflections on intolerance to diversity and the absence of hair due to the disease alopecia of actress Jada, in addition to machismo and signs of discriminatory discursive reproduction of mockery and discriminatory and controversial laughter at the 2022 Oscars.
