Este trabalho realiza um breve percurso histórico sobre as ancestrais tradições literárias que atuam como discurso fundante da longa história de repressão sexual no ocidente para se compreender a literatura homoerótica como espaço de contestação e realocação das sexualidades dissidentes. A partir das sutis manifestações do homoerotismo gótico, percebe-se a emergência de uma literatura gay, notadamente marginal nos círculos literários, bem como da ampliação da temática homoafetiva na ficção televisiva e mais recentemente na publicidade, fruto do engajamento, conforme questões identitárias, de profissionais ligados à literatura e à teledramaturgia.
Resumo Inglês:
This paper makes a brief historical background on the ancient literary traditions that act as founding speech of the long history of sexual repression in the West to understand the homoerotic literature as challenge space and relocation of dissident sexualities. From subtle manifestations of the Gothic homoeroticism, we see the emergence of a gay literature, notably marginal in literary circles as well as the expansion of homosexual theme in television fiction and more recently in advertising, fruit engagement, by identity issues, from professionals related to literature and television drama.
