Das fontes relativas às cortes afonsinas nos deteremos nos estudos de Armindo de Sousa, nas Ordenações Afonsinas e em textos publicados de forma esparsa na bibliografia e no Monumenta Henricina.
The aim of this article is
to analyze the “Cortes†that occurred
in Portugal during the reign of D.
Afonso V (1448-1481). The sources
for this article are Armindo de Sousa’s
studies, the “Ordenações Afonsinasâ€
and texts published sparsely in the
bibliography and in the Monumenta
Henricina, all of them related to
the “Cortes†that took place during
D.Afonso’s government .
