Para que se compreenda a crítica de Hegel a Kant em Crença e saber, artigopublicado pelo filósofo no Jornal Crítico de Filosofia, editado em conjunto com Schelling, retomaremos inicialmenteno escrito sobre a Diferençao primeiro esboço daexposiçãohegeliana daquilo que pare ele constitui a tarefa filosófica, de modo queela dê conta das cisões originadas pela cultura filosófica moderna. O ponto de vista filosófico de Hegelno artigoestá apoiado nesse texto. A seguir, reconstituiremos o contexto da criação do Jornal Crítico, as diretrizes a serem atendidas pela crítica filosófica e expostas no artigo introdutório do Jornal, para só então abordar os traços gerais da crítica às filosofias da reflexão e, por fim, a crítica de Hegel a Kant. Com respeito a esta, procura o filósofo tanto apontar aquilo que há de limitado no projeto filosófico crítico, quanto aquilo que pode ser considerado um prenúncio da autêntica especulação filosófica.

In order to understand Hegel’s criticism of Kant in Belief and Knowledge, an articlepublished by the philosopher in the Critical Journal of Philosophy, edited in association with Schelling, we will initially returnin the Differenzschriftto the first outline of the Hegelian presentationof what he thinks constitutes the philosophical task, so thatit takesaccount for the splits originated by modern philosophical culture. Hegel’s philosophical point of view in the article is supported by this text. Next, we will reconstruct the context of the creation of the Critical Journal, the guidelines to be met by philosophical criticism and exposed in the introductory article of the Journal, thence to approach the general features of the criticism of the philosophies of reflection and, finally, the criticism of Hegel to Kant. With regard to this, the philosopher search both to point out what is limited in the critical philosophical project, and what can be considered a harbinger of authentic philosophical speculation.
