O presente artigo analisa alguns elementos fÃlmicos e um conjunto de crÃticas referentes ao filme Panteras Negras, dirigido por Mario Van Peebles. Pretende-se, assim, refletir sobre o contexto da década de 1960, marcado por várias polêmicas e ações revolucionárias, sobretudo os movimentos de contracultura. Além disso, vale retomar aspectos próprios do filme de Van Peebles e, em seguida, tratar da crÃtica e recepção da obra. Esta é uma maneira de repensar não somente a relação Cinema/História, mas também o par História/Ficção, buscando entender o que este filme coloca em evidência e as implicações que isso causa no público espectador, e na crÃtica que se ocupa de avaliá-lo, de acordo com os padrões da época.
This article analyses some of the movies' contents and a group of critics about Panther, directed by Mario Van Peebles. So, is the intention, discuss about the 1960's context, detaching the revolutionaries moves, especially the counterculture moves. More than this, it's important to search for characteristics from the own Van Peebles' movie and, after that, threat about the critic and the work acceptance. This is a way to rethink, not only the relation Cinema/History, but also the pair History/Fiction, trying to understand what this movie presents and the implications that it causes to the televiewers, and of the critic that is responsable to evaluate it, according to the period's models.
