O presente artigo trata da crise ucraniana e suas implicações para as relações internacionais. Para tanto, são apresentados os acontecimentos que deram origem à crise e seus desdobramentos até a anexação da Criméia pela Rússia. Em um segundo momento, os argumentos ocidentais contra a anexação russa são contrastados com os argumentos russos, para que a lógica por trás das ações de Moscou fique mais clara. A seguir, os acontecimentos após a anexação da Criméia são analisados de modo a lançar luz sobre três possíveis cenários decorrentes e suas implicações para as relações internacionais. Na conclusão, a estratégia ocidental para lidar com a Ucrânia é criticada e faz-se um apelo para que a Rússia seja tratada na atualidade sem referências obsoletas do período soviético.

This article deals with the Ukrainian crisis and its international implications. Firstly, it describes the events that led to the crisis and its aftermath until the annexation of Crimea by Russia. Then, a comparison between Russian and Western perspectives on interventions is offered in order to clarify the logic behind Moscow actions. The following sections treat the events after the annexation of Crimea and the implications of three possible scenarios arising from this crisis for international relations. In the conclusion, the Western strategy to deal with Ukraine is criticized and an appeal is made for Russia to be treated without obsolete references of the Soviet period.
