Neste artigo temos como objetivo apresentar uma análise preliminar do capítulo sobre estrutura algébrica grupo do livro Álgebra Moderna empregado em cursos de Licenciatura em Matemática. Durante o período de nosso doutoramento em Educação Matemática, tivemos a oportunidade de analisar alguns livros didáticos que trabalham esse assunto, sendo ele o único redigido para ser utilizado apenas em cursos de Licenciatura em Matemática. Metodologicamente consiste em um trabalho documental, denominado síntese, que faz parte da nossa pesquisa intitulada “Um estudo sobre estrutura algébrica grupo: potencialidades e limitações para generalização e formalização”. Segundo Sacristán, há diferentes níveis de currículo, contudo aqui retratamos o currículo moldado aos professores que ministram esse componente curricular. Observamos que antes do conteúdo é apresentado o contexto histórico, que alguns exercícios possuem respostas e que ao evitarem o formalismo matemático, as demonstrações tornam-se confusas.
In this article we aim to present a preliminary analysis of the chapter on algebraic structure group of the book Modern Algebra employed in courses of Degree in Mathematics. During the period of our doctorate in Mathematics Education, we had the opportunity to analyze some textbooks that worked on this subject, of which this one is written only to be used only in courses of Degree in Mathematics. Methodologically consists of a documentary work, called Synthesis, which is part of our research entitled "A study on algebraic group structure: potentialities and limitations for generalization and formalization". According to Sacristán, there are different levels of curriculum, however here we portray the curriculum shaped to the teachers who teach this curricular component. We observe that before the content is presented the historical context, some exercises have answers and that, by avoiding the mathematical formalism, the demonstrations become confused.
