The indigenous peoples of Ceará until the 1980s remained invisible in the history and society of Ceará. However, from the intense mobilization of indigenous peoples, we see the resurgence of indigenous peoples, fighting for land, respect for indigenous identity, the right to be and remain in their territories. In this area, other lines of struggle emerge and the right to specific and differentiated education is intertwined with the struggle for territory, with the school as the locus for strengthening indigenous peoples. The methodological proposal was based on qualitative analysis, based on documentary and bibliographic research; field research, for data collection, we used semi-structured interviews and participant observation. The records were organized in a field diary, in recordings of the interviews, followed by analysis of the recurring categories in the data collected, in order to understand the subjects' perception of the indigenous school for the Pitaguaries and what is the importance of this institution in strengthening the struggle for Earth. The research was based, initially, around the categories: identity, culture and territory, taking as a theoretical foundation, for the studies on identity and culture, the writings of Hall (2002) and Silva (2004, 2017). On territory, the works of Little (2004) and Gallois (2004) were used.
