DANOS CAUSADOS POR INSETOS EM FRUTOS E SEMENTES DE ARATICUM (Annona crassiflora MART., 1841) NO CERRADO DE GOIÁS

Este trabalho teve por objetivo levantar, identificar e avaliar os danos causados pelos insetos e o
seu comportamento alimentar, em frutos e sementes de araticum. O trabalho foi realizado em duas fases: A) No
município de Goiânia, em 23 plantas produtivas de araticum; B) Em treze municípios do Estado de Goiás (quatorze
áreas), em regiões de ocorrência natural do araticum. Os frutos foram coletados no período de frutificação e avaliados
no laboratório. Para o estudo foram coletados todos os frutos referentes à fase A, enquanto para a fase B foram
coletados apenas os frutos danificados por pragas. Os frutos foram avaliados individualmente sendo determinada a
massa e os danos, nos frutos e nas sementes. Para avaliação dos danos provocados pelos insetos: Bephratelloides
pomorum, Cerconota anonella e Spermologus funereus, os frutos foram abertos manualmente separando-se as
sementes. Destas, foram retirados os restos de polpa e lavadas, obtendo-se as sementes limpas, que foram contadas e
avaliadas quanto aos danos. Para a avaliação dos danos dos outros insetos os frutos foram acondicionados de forma
individualizada em caixas de polipropileno contendo areia úmida. Posteriormente, foi realizada a coleta de adultos para
identificação. As porcentagens de sementes de araticum danificadas por B. pomorum, C. anonella e S. funereus, foram,
respectivamente de: 69,06%, 26,08% e 0,36% na coleção ex situ da EA/UFG de 14,29%, 29,63% e 55,77% nas áreas de
cerrado do estado de Goiás. Foi registrado pela primeira vez a espécie Lydamis variegatus, danificando frutos e
sementes de araticum. A espécie Neosilba spp. foi registrada na coleção ex situ e em nove das outras áreas estudadas.

This work had the objective of identifying an evaluating the damages caused by insects and their
alimentary behavior in fruits and seeds of araticum. The work was conducted in two phases: phase A, in the city of
Goiânia, in 23 plants in production; phase B, in thirteen cities (fourteen areas), areas of natural occurrence of the araticum,
in the state of Goias. In de A phase, all fruits were collected, while in the B phase only the ones injured by insects. It was
evaluated individually for damages in the fruits and the seeds and mass. To evaluate damages caused by Bephratelloides
pomorum, Cerconota anonella and Spermologus funereus the fruits were opened and the seeds were cleaned, counted and
then evaluated for these insect damages. To evaluate damages caused by the other insects each fruit was kept isolate in a
polypropylene box contend humid sand. Later, the adults insects were collected and identified. The percentages of seeds
damaged by B. pomorum, C. anonella and S. funereus, were, respectivalely: 69,06%, 26,08% , 0,36% in the ex situ
collection of the EA/UFG and 14,29%, 29,63% e 55,77% in the fruits collected in thirteen cities of natural occurrence of
the araticum. Lydamis variagatus was registered for the first time damaging fruits and seeds of araticum. The Neosilba spp
was registered in the ex situ and in other nine studied areas.
