El contexto moderno invita a reconsiderar la Deidad presente en la Pachamama.
Se examinan lenguajes tanto de parte de la población como de
parte de quienes cristianizan. Las maneras andinas de entender a Dios y a
Jesucristo son contrastadas con los mensajes recibidos desde la época colonial hasta el presente. Las creencias y celebraciones a la Pachamama corresponden a la sensibilidad andina hacia la corporeidad humana y hacia lo femenino
en la vivencia de Dios.
Resumo Inglês:
Modernity allows us to reinterpret sacred experiences that are present in
andean relationships with Mother Earth. I examine symbolic language that
belongs to indigenous population and also what belongs to Christian institutions.
Andean people understand God and Christ in ways that are different
from what has been handed over to them from colonial times up till now.
Beliefs and celebrations dedicated to Pachamama have key dimensions:
ways of being in time and space, bodily experience, feminine relationship
with God.
