Este artigo surgiu das inquietações da autora durante a leitura da história Alice no País das Maravilhas. Lewis Carroll, ao apresentar o mundo onírico de Alice, convida o leitor a entrar no mais íntimo dela, e assim mergulhar no sonho dessa menina curiosa, valente e determinada. Com o aprofundamento das bases psicanalíticas por parte da autora, surgiu a oportunidade de analisar essa obra à luz da teoria freudiana. Freud, com sua obra A Interpretação dos Sonhos, consegue provar a existência do inconsciente. Com isso, ele prova que existe mais no sujeito do que somente a parte consciente. Tudo o que é vivido, experenciado, afeta o sujeito psiquicamente, estando ele sempre em constante construção. Acordados, os sujeitos usam o ego e o superego para realizar suas funções diárias. Ao dormir, sonha para liberar o id, aliviando as pressões e dando vazão ao inconsciente. Durante a análise da obra, Alice em suas aventuras oníricas, vê-se perdida em um mundo estranho e que se esforça para compreender. Ao longo da história ela vai se fortalecendo, posicionando-se em relação ao que quer fazer e dizer. Percebe-se uma consolidação de sua estrutura psíquica ao se deparar com os outros personagens. The author decided to write this article because of her questions about the story Alice in Wonderland. Lewis Carroll, when presenting Alice’s oneiric world, invites the reader to enter in her intimacy, and in this way, he can dive in the dream of this brave, curious and determined girl. With the studies of the psychoanalytic theories, the author had the opportunity of analyzing this book under the freudian theory. Freud, with his work The Interpretation of Dreams, is able to proof the existence of the unconsciousness. Everything that is lived, experienced, affects the subject psychically, being in constant construction. Awake, the subjects use their ego and superego to realize their daily functions. Sleeping, they dream to release their id, relieving their pressures and giving space to the unconscious. During the analysis of the book, Alice in her oneiric adventures, sees herself lost in a strange world that she makes effort to understand. Through her path she gets stronger, having control of what she wants to do and to say. It is realized a consolidation of her psychic structure when she meets other characters. It is with the meeting of her own unconscious that she becomes brave and decided.
