O artigo busca apresentar e discutir a concepção pareysoniana de Deus como liberdade originária. Elaborada sob inspiração de Plotino e Schelling, ela pretende ser uma ousada interpretação "losó"ca da experiência religiosa cristã; mas, ao entender Deus ao mesmo tempo como inÃcio absoluto e escolha entre bem e mal, ela suscita inevitavelmente a questão: trata-se de hermenêutica da experiência religiosa cristã ou de mais um cristianismo metafÃsico?
This article seeks to present and discuss the Pareysonian conception of God as original liberty. Wrifen under the inspiration of Plotinus and Schelling, it intends to be a bold philosophical interpretation of the Christian religious experience; however, by understanding God both as an absolute beginning and a choice between good and evil, it inevitably raises the following question: does it advance a hermeneutics of the Christian religious experience or another form of metaphysical Christianity?
