Embora haja registros da presença humana na região
sudoeste do Estado de Goiás que ultrapassam milênios,
somente as marcas das últimas décadas foram fundamentais
na transformação extrema das paisagens. A
configuração do meio fÃsico teve papel relevante nas fases
apresentadas por esse processo de mudanças. Isso
pode ser constatado com a análise da configuração das
paisagens no municÃpio de JataÃ, a partir da descrição
das formas de uso das terras e da cobertura vegetal encontradas
ao final das décadas de 1960, 1970 e 1990,
e seu cruzamento com os elementos de suporte da paisagem
natural: as formações geológicas, as formas de
relevo e as classes de solos.
Although the registers of human being presence in the
Southwestern region of Goiás state exceed thousands
of years, only the marks of the last decades had been
basic in the extreme transformation of landscapes. And
the environment configuration was very important in the
phases presented by this changes process. This can be
evidenced with the analysis of Jatả۪s landscapes configurations,
from the description of shapes of lands use and
the vegetal covering found in the end of 1960’s, 1970’s
and 1990’s years, and its relation with the support elements
of natural landscape: the geologic formations, the
relief shapes and the types of soils.
