Em virtude das novas demandas da sociedade contemporânea, as quais influenciando especialmente os adolescentes que estão ligados com as informações e comunicação em rede, o ambiente escolar busca atender a esse novo público com a oferta de uma matriz curricular flexível e contextualiza com sua realidade. O objetivo da pesquisa foi identificar as disciplinas eletivas ligadas à Educação Física nas escolas de ensino médio em tempo integral da rede estadual no município de Juazeiro do Norte-CE. A presente pesquisa caracteriza-se comodocumental e de cunho quantitativa, no qual foram listadas asofertasda parte diversificada do currículo do ensino médio. A amostra foi composta por cinco escolas públicas de ensino médio em tempo integral, com a descrição direta das disciplinas eletivas ofertadas na área da Educação Física. Constatou-se que do semestre 2018.1 a 2019.1, foram ofertadas 562 eletivas, sendo 75 ligadas à Educação Física, representando 13,35% das disciplinaseletivas da parte diversificada do currículo ofertado.
In view of the new demands of contemporary society, such as those that especially influence adolescents who are connected with information and network communication, the school environment seeks to serve a new audience with a flexible curriculum that is contextualized with their reality. The objective of the research was to identify as elective subjects linked to Physical Education in full-time high schools in the state network of Juazeiro do Norte-CE. The present research was characterized as documentary and quantitative, but it was not listed as offers from a diversified part of the high school curriculum. A sample consisted of five public high schools full time, with a direct description of the electives offered in the area of Physical Education. It found that the semester 2018.1 to 2019.1, 562 electives were ffered, 75 of which were enrolled in Physical Education, representing 13.35% of the electives in a diversified part of the offered curriculum.
