A DISCURSIVIZAÇÃO DA "MÚSICA BREGA" EM PARALELO COM O CONCEITO DE KITSCH

O trabalho ora apresentado pretende discutir as relações discursivas que podem ser estabelecidas entre a dispersão do conceito de “brega”, quando utilizado no âmbito da música popular, e a formulação do conceito de kitsch, desenvolvida por Abraham Moles em seu livro intitulado “O kitsch”, obra recorrentemente trazida à tona nas áreas de Comunicação, Artes, Literatura e Sociologia. Tal abordagem será realizada a partir da perspectiva teórica da Análise do Discurso francesa, mobilizando-se, sobretudo, o conceito de enunciado/ função enunciativa para Michel Foucault, que permite a análise das regularidades enunciativas referentes ao emprego dos dois termos conceituais – “brega” e “kitsch” no interior de dadas formações discursivas.

The paper presented here aims to discuss the discursive relations that can be established
between the dispersion of the brega concept, when used in popular music, and the formulation of kitsch’s
concept, developed by Abraham Moles in his book titled The Kitsch, a work repeatedly mentioned in
Communication, Arts, Literature and Sociology studies; kitsch is understood in this work as an ordinary
commodity that does not reach the art, aiming only at the consumption. This approach will be taken from
the theoretical perspective of French Discourse Analysis, mobilizing, especially, the concept of
enunciative function by Michel Foucault, which allows the analysis of enunciative regularities concerning
the usage of these two conceptual terms – brega and kitsch – within certain discursive formations.
