Analisando a História do Descobrimento do Brasil, percebemos que não há menção efetiva da participação de religiosos como sujeitos desse Discurso, dado que na caravela de Pedro Ãlvares Cabral vieram também frades franciscanos além de civis e militares. Há carência de material dessa época para análise, principalmente, de documentos franciscanos, dispomos somente de documentos jesuÃtas. Através do Discurso JesuÃta (DJ), o Discurso Franciscano (DF) fez-se ouvir de forma vestigial, marcando sua presença-ausente no Discurso Religioso Quinhentista (DRQ). Dando suporte teórico-metodológico ao presente trabalho, está a Análise do Discurso de linha francesa.
Analyzing the History of the Discovery of Brazil, we realize that there is no effective
mention of the participation of religious subjects such as speech, given that in the caravel of Pedro
