Na conjuntura atual, de acirramento da intolerância por parte de alguns
grupos religiosos, frente à questão da liberdade de orientação e expressão
sexual, acirram-se as disputas polÃtico-ideológicas e as posturas fundamentalistas.
O objetivo deste artigo é, frente a tal conjuntura, discutir a necessidade
do respeito à diversidade e à diferença, na defesa de um Estado laico.
Para isso, partimos da compreensão dos conceitos básicos que envolvem essa
discussão, a saber: identidade, gênero e diversidade sexual. Após uma breve
discussão desses conceitos, apresentamos os principais argumentos religiosos
em defesa da heteronormatividade e tentaremos desconstruÃ-los com base no
próprio discurso religioso. Por fim, resgataremos um pouco da construção do
Estado moderno laico, apresentando-o como uma conquista dos seres humanos,
que trilham seus caminhos, buscando uma sociedade verdadeiramente
emancipada que, portanto, valoriza os seres humanos em sua diversidade e
suas riquezas cultural e espiritual.
In the current moment, of the intolerance intensification by religious
groups in front the issue of the freedom of orientation and sexual expression,
intensifies the disputes ideological political and the fundamentalist postures.
The goal of this article, in front of this moment, is to present the need of the
respect the diversity and difference, in defense of a laic State. For that, we
present the basic concepts that involve this issue: identity, gender, sexual
diversity. After that, we show the main religious arguments in defense of the
heteronormativity and we wi1l try to deconstruct them with the own religious
discourse. Finally, we rescued the construction of the laic modern State,
showing it like a conquest of the human beings, that walk, looking for one
truly emancipated society, therefore, that values the human beings, in it
diversity and wealth cultural and spiritual.
