Este artigodiscorre sobre aeducação escolar quilombola,comentaoprocesso desuaformação, características e paralelismo com a educação das relações étnico-raciais. Descreve sua importância no cenário da educação brasileira por ter como meta romper o silenciamento imposto aos quilombolas e ao mesmo tempo abrirespaços de diálogo com aemancipação iluminista, política e humana. A fim de dar efetividade a este desiderato, servimo-nos do método crítico-dialéticoque enxerga a situação contemporânea dos quilombolas articulada com oseupassadohistórico econdicionada pelas movimentações socioeconômicas prevalecentes. Sua força emancipadora fica por conta da prática professoral.
Thisarticle discussesquilombola school education, coments on the process ofitsformation,characteristics and parallelism with the education of ethnic-racial relations. It describes its importance in the Brazilian education scene as it aims to break the silence imposed on quilombola and at the same time open spaces for dialogue with enlightenment, political and human emancipation. In order to give effect to this aim, we use the critical-dialectical method that sees the contemporary situation of quilombolas articulated with the past and historically conditioned by the prevailing socioeconomic movements. Its emancipatory strength is due the teaching practice.
