O artigo discute o o processo de implantação do núcleo regional da APP-Sindicato dos Trabalhadores em Educação Pública do Paraná, em Irati/PR. O objetivo foi perceber o processo em suas implicações históricas e polÃticas dentro da classe dos trabalhadores em educação. O recorte temporal tem por base a constituição do sindicato em 1988, e a efetivação da sede regional de Irati, em 2002. Foram utilizadas entrevistas e materiais impressos, tais como atas, boletins e folhetos produzidos pela entidade.
The article discusses the process of implanting the regional office of the public education workers’ syndicate (APP-Sindicato dos Trabalhadores em Educação Pública) in the city of Irati, Paraná. The objective was to perceive the process in its historical and political implications within the education-working class. The time range is based on the syndicate foundation in 1988 and the effective opening of the Irati regional headquarters in 2002. Interviews and printed materials have been used, such as logs, newsletters, and pamphlets produced by the entity.

Se discute el proceso de creación del nucleo regional de la APP-Sindicato de los Trabajadores en Educación Pública de Paraná, en la ciudad de Irati/PR. Se buscó leer el proceso en su mirada historica y polÃtica por la clase de los trabajadores en educación, de 1988 a la creación de la ofician regional de Irati, el 2002. Fueron usados testimonios y materiales de la prensa y otros documentos del sindicato.
