A new evangelical pentecostal church recently formed in the city of Niteroi - RJ - Brazil,
gives us the opportunity to analyze their context of creation, as well as the peculiarities of its
cosmogony and organizational structure. The figure of the minister and the social roles that
he exercises within the community, outlining the main focus of this paper.

Una nueva iglesia evangélica pentecostal recientemente creada en la ciudad de Niteroi
– RJ - Brasil, nos brinda la oportunidad de analizar su contexto de creación, asà como
también las particularidades propias de su estructura cosmogónica y organizacional.
La figura del pastor y los roles sociales que este ejerce dentro de la comunidad delinean
el eje principal de esta ponencia.
