O artigo em tela tem como finalidade mapear e analisar aspectos da luta dos povos indígenas no médio Solimões pela preservação e manutenção dos seus territórios. Para isso, num primeiro momento, buscamos reconstituir as investidas que as diversas etnias indígenas sofreram sobre as suas áreas ao longo do tempo, ressaltando as formas e caminhos trilhados por elas para resistir e sobreviver. Em seguida, intentamos identificar as áreas indígenas demarcadas ou não existentes no médio Solimões, traçando um breve perfil delas e, por fim, as salientamos as variadas agressões sofridas por esses povos na atualidade.
The purpose of this article is to map and analyze aspects of the struggle of indigenous peoples in the middle Solimões for the preservation and maintenance of their territories. To achieve this, initially, we seek to reconstruct the attacks that the various indigenous ethnicities have suffered in their areas over time, highlighting the ways and paths taken by them to resist and survive. Next, we attempt to identify the demarcated or non-existing indigenous areas in the middle Solimões, drawing a brief profile of them and, finally, we highlight the varied aggressions suffered by these people today.
