Objetivos: Analisar o perfil das mulheres empreendedoras da cidade de Frutal – MG e identificar os desafios enfrentados para abertura do empreendimento e a relação deles com a questão de gênero. Método: Pesquisa descritiva com abordagem qualiquantitativa delineada em um estudo de caso. Resultados: As mulheres empreendedoras participantes do estudo demonstram características essenciais ao indivíduo que pretende se tornar empreendedor. Conclusão: As mulheres empreendedoras participantes do estudo atendem as recomendações descritas na literatura do assunto em relação ao perfil empreendedor, o que, por sua vez, aumenta as chances do empreendimento alcançar resultados positivos.
Objectives: To analyze the profile of women entrepreneurs in the city of Frutal – MG and identify the challenges faced in opening the enterprise and their relationship with the issue of gender. Method: Descriptive research with a qualitative and quantitative approach outlined in a case study. Results: Women entrepreneurs in the study demonstrate essential characteristics to the individual you want to become an entrepreneur. Conclusion: Women entrepreneurs in the study meet the recommendations outlined in the subject of the literature regarding the entrepreneurial profile, which in turn increases the chances of the project achieving positive results.
