Este artigo trata do Portal do Professor de Português Língua Estrangeira/Língua Não Materna (PPPLE), analisando a plataforma como recurso para o ensino de língua portuguesa a partir de uma perspectiva pluricêntrica. O texto traz um resgate histórico dos movimentos políticos linguísticos que levaram a sua criação, mapeando atividades e documentos que marcaram o processo. Em seguida, analisamos o Portal como recurso para o ensino, trazendo um olhar sobre suas características e um mapeamento de estudos já existentes no Brasil sobre o uso do PPPLE como fonte por professores de português. Neste estudo, buscamos identificar que contribuições o PPPLE tem oferecido e pode oferecer para fortalecer a gestão democrática da língua portuguesa e a promoção da diversidade cultural da lusofonia.
This article deals with the Portal of the Teacher of Portuguese as a Foreign Language/Non-Mother Tongue(PPPLE), analyzing this tool of the International Institute of the Portuguese Language (IILP) of the Community of Portuguese-speaking Countries (CPLP) as a resource for teaching Portuguesefrom a pluricentric perspective. The text brings a historical of linguistic political processes that led to its creation, mapping the major activities and documents. Next, we analyze PPPLE as a resource for teaching, looking at its characteristics. We collected existing studies in Brazil about the use of PPPLE as a source by Portuguese teachers. We sought to identify what contributions PPPLE has offered and can offer to strengthen the democratic management of the Portuguese language and the promotion of the cultural diversity of the lusophone countries.
