O presente trabalho apresenta o registro de uma experiência docente numa escola de Educação Infantil no município de Maragogipe-BA e aponta para a necessidade do trabalho do Ensino de História neste universo educacional. Foi utilizada a metodologia de contação de histórias com a temática afro-brasileira enquanto mecanismo facilitador e auxiliador na (re)reconstrução da identidade étnicorracial de crianças de 4 e 5 anos.
The present work presents the record of a teaching experience in a School of Early Childhood Education in the district of Maragogipe-BA and it points to the necessity of working History Teaching in this educational universe. It was used the methodology of storytelling with the Afro-Brazilian theme as a facilitator and helper in the (re)reconstruction of the ethnic-racial identity of children between 4 and 5 years old.
