O objetivo deste texto é discutir a construção de narrativas ficcionais modernas em Goiás por meio de discursos historiográfico e políticos na imagética de Nazareno Confaloni. Evoco como o artista ficciona com tais elementos discursivos em algumas obras pré-selecionadas. Sigo dirigindo as minhas análises para compreender estética e formalismo de vanguarda em Nazareno Confaloni, direcionando o tratamento das fontes históricas a partir das noções de identidade produzida por estas experiências, nas quais elementos modernos e arcaicos se entrelaçaram e tornaram-se únicos.
The aim of this paper is to discuss the construction of modern fictional narratives in Goiás through the imagery of political discourse Nazareno Confaloni. I recall how the artist fantasize with such discursive elements in some pre-selected works. I follow my driving tests to understand aesthetics and formalism in the forefront Nazareno Confaloni, directing the treatment of historical sources from the notions of identity produced by these experiments, in which archaic and modern elements are intertwined and become unique.
