A análise de gênero como fomentadora de discussões no campo dos estudos lingüísticos, do modo como está estruturada, constrói uma epistemologia que põe a parte fatores subjetivos da estruturação dos gêneros. Embora parta de um estatuto interacional, marginaliza problemas de convencionalização e uso de gêneros, uma vez que não se atém aos aspectos individuais dos usuários da língua, perdendo de vista fatores relacionados à formação e à variação dos gêneros. Neste sentido é que o presente artigo se propõe a investigar o percurso interacional de um evento comunicativo particular frente a um gênero que pode ser caracterizado como emergente. A peculiaridade do caso estudado está no fato de que não é a comunidade discursiva que parece estar detendo um papel principal na formatação da “entrevista por e-mail”, mas o próprio embate dos interactantes com a novidade apresentada: uma mídia que impõe um padrão diferente de interação e formas textuais que o respeitem.

The genre analysis as a stimulator of discussions in the field of linguistic studies, in the way that it is structured, constructs an epistemology that separates the subjetive factors of genre estructuring. Though it arises from an interactional statute, it disregards the problems of convention and use of genre because it does not considers the individual aspects of the language users and, in this way, lose sight of the fators related to the formation and to the variation of genre. In this sense, the presente article proposes to investigate the interactional path of a particular communicative event in regard to a genre that can be characterized as emergent. The particular aspect of the case studied resides in the fact that the discourse community is not the one that seems to be playing the principle role in formatting of the “interview by e-mail” as a genre, but the “fight” of the interactors with the novelty presented: a media that imposes a different pattern of interaction and textual forms that respect it.
